At the June meeting two solutions were provided. Richard DeJongh brought in a fixmdb.mbd utility that works with Access 2 that he found on the Access Forum on CompuServe, and Jennifer McNamara brought in a solution she found in an Access Newsletter by Cobb, and versions of that solution for Access 2, Access 7 (from Office 95), and Access 8 (from Office 97) are available on the Cobb FTP site:
| Access 2 | ftp.cobb.com/ima/June97/AUTOREPR.MDB |
| Access 7 | ftp.cobb.com/ima/June97/AUTO95.mdb |
| Access 8 | ftp.cobb.com/ima/June97/AUTO97.mdb |
If you are going to get these files with ftp by going to the ftp.cobb.com, and working your way down directory by directory, or by clicking on one of the links from the web version of this article, you don't need to worry about case, but if you are going to key this in directly, either in a browser or in a command line ftp, be sure to follow the use of upper case and lower case letters exactly, because Unix is case sensitive, and they were somewhat inconsistent in the use of case in naming these three files.
