No More Apple
From the November 1997 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
At one time the Apple II/IIgs Special Interest Group was one of the largest in the Tulsa Computer Society, and many of its members were the best workers we had. They kept the SIG going long after Microsoft ceased releasing new software for it, using it as a Cash Cow to support development of its Macintosh line, and they were the only source of support to dedicated Apple users in NorthEast Oklahoma, but all things come to an end, and the Apple Sig is no different, and it has now ceased to meet. Thank you Fred, Harry, Mike, Frank, and all of the other wonderful people that did so much for the Tulsa Computer Society and its Apple II/IIgs Special Interest Group.
