Windows and MS Works

This new evening class is for beginners and meets on the third Thursday each month (7:00 - 9:00 P.M.) in the Schusterman Library 3333 E. 32 Pl. I recommend you park on the North side of the building or in the Homeland Parking lot just north of the Library.

When we arrived for the first class in Feb. we found that a few days earlier someone had broken into the meeting room and stolen the large projector screen. Having to use a small screen was a disadvantage to all of us but the 25 in attendance was able to see fairly well and say they learned as we discussed the use of keys on the key board.

The class on March 23 will be the three "F"s for the computer, "files, folders and floppies". Learning to save your work and then being able to find it after saving it can make a big difference in how user-friendly your computer will be.

I try to go slow with the lesson so those who wish to do so can take notes. Hope you can join us each fourth Thursday evening do-how@juno.com
