As you know, the UNIX operating system, with its multi-user and multi-tasking capabilities, has become an industry standard. If you are new to the UNIX environment, this operating system can seem overwhelming.

Through lecture and hands-on laboratory work, you will quickly acquire the necessary skill sets needed to understand the UNIX operating system - its features, commands and utilities - enabling you to take full advantage of this powerful and versatile operating system.

Each instructor has more than 10 years of UNIX experience in a real world environment. Their experience includes multi-vendor platform support, hardware and software maintenance, system and application software development and support, user support, and system administration.
