Access Sig Report

From the April 1999 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
At the Access meeting on March 2 we took a look at how to specify small fonts in forms, looked at the documentation capability built into Access 97, and explored a very challenging problem Bruce Carson brought us involving Unmatched Records. Despite spending a good amount of time on the Unmatched Record problem, we never did come to a definite conclusion regarding the cause. Basically he used the Unmatched Record query to identify the records in one table that did not have a matching record in the other table, and yet the resulting table contained some records that were in the other table, and some that were not.
If you have questions about an Access Database, we encourage you to bring a database on a Floppy, a Zip Disk, or a LS-120 Super Disk to an access meeting, and we will see if the experts there can help solve your problem.
The Access Sig Meeting on April 6 will take place at Bruce Carson's house, 8317 N 126 E Ave in Owasso because the library will be using our meeting room for library business. We will resume meeting at the Schusterman-Benson Library with the May 4 meeting.
