Internet Sig

The program for February 20 was Building a Web Page, and I planned to show how I use Ultra Edit to build a web page. Unfortunately I was unable to attend that meeting, because I had to be in Amarillo for my mother's funeral (see http://www.tcs.org/doris), and I definitely appreciate Bruce Carson and Don Greer filling in for me. We learned I was not going to be there at the last minute, so they did not have long to prepare. I am sure they did a wonderful job, but some have asked me to explain Ultra Edit myself, and to talk about how I built some recent pages, such a the current online TCS Registration Form, the web site honoring my mother, etc, so I have scheduled the April 5 Special Projects meeting and the April 17 Internet Sig meeting on Super Saturday to cover these subjects.

February 22 we covered Email. Many would probably say how could you take an entire meeting to cover something this simple, but when you really get down to it, there is a lot that we can talk about, and I was not able to cover everything even given a 90 minute meeting, so I have scheduled this subject again for the April 26 meeting.

March 20 we will cover UseNet News Groups, and March 29 will be devoted to FTP (File Transfer Protocol). As indicated above, on April 17 we will cover Building a Web Page, and April 26 will be devoted to Email.
