Daytimers Sig Report

Bruce was unable to attend the April 9 Daytimers meeting so he asked me to fill in for him. We had a very spirited series of questions from the twenty or so people in the audience. I am not sure I can remember each question, but will attempt to relate a few.

One lady had Delrina Win Fax Pro installed on Windows 3.1 and wanted to know how to use it. Bruce's laptop did not happen to have it installed, but it did have several different print drivers, so I tried to show how one would write the document they wanted to fax, select print, but before actually printing select the fax device as a printer, and then "printing" the fax to the fax driver.

A Windows 95 user wanted to know how to find out which version of Win95 he had. The solution was to right click on my computer, left click on properties, and look at the right side of the window that popped up.

One question which we could not answer at the time, but which is answered in an article in this issue of the paper, is the specific URL for the Power Toys Bruce talked about at the Windows 95 meeting on Monday. The URL is "http://www.microsoft.com/windows/common/a2729.htm".
