General Meeting

From the December 2002 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
The program at the November 26 General Meeting was on Security. I was not able to make it,
because a couple of days before the meeting the Weather Report predicted freezing rain, and
I am having enough problems with my balance, and I did not want to take the chance of trying
to walk on ice. Apparently the precipitation did not arrive as expected, but I had already
made an appointment to help TCS Member Nick Nail with a computer problem, so I was not
able to make it. Apparently many other members missed the show as well, possibly because
of the weather reports, or possibly because it was two days before Thanksgiving.

There will NOT be a meeting in December. The program at the January 28 meeting will
cover Viruses, and on February 25 we would like to ask all members that got a Digital
Camera for Christmas to bring it and show it to the other members for a program on
Camera Hardware.
