Linux Sig

Had a good turn out at the
swap meet Saturday. We maybe had 100 people stop
by. We turned the one table that we had perpendicular to the rest of the
tables to allow people to sit down and look at Linux. Stance,
the organizer of the swap meet, said that we generated a lot of interest which he thought
was good for the show. He said we could come back any time. We used the TCS
projector to show Redhat 9. The other desk and laptops demoed other
versions.
The November 29 meeting will be an Installfest.
Matthew J. Watkins indicates
they are also thinking of another Installfest after the new year to get all
the new Christmas PC's outfitted with LINUX.
The Linux Sig has a mailing list at tulsa-lug@lists.sourceforge.net
