From the February 2003 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
We don't have pictures on all of these yet, but in January we distributed 22 computers:
- 2 computers to the Glenpool Health Care Center
- We provided an imaging computer, plus replaced three monitors for the
fifteen machines we provided to the First
Baptist Church in Owasso.
- We provided 4 computers and monitors, plus two printers (one a laser printer) and a
scanner to the Children's Feeding Network in Springfield, MO.
- We provided two computers for the residents use at Ambassadors' Courtyards Assisted
Living Center.
- We provided one computer to Antioch Baptist Church in Morris
- We provided seven computers to Union Baptist Church in Grayson
- We provided two computers to
Cimarron Valley Services
for foster kids to use
- We provided five computers to Glory House
I want to thank Don Sutton, who tries to come over to my house at least once each week
to spend several hours working on donated computers.
If you have some spare time and would like to work on these donated computers, to check
them out and prepare them for subsequent donation to schools, churches, or non-profit
agencies, just call 622-3417 and let me know when you would like to come over. Because
of my health problems, I am home almost all of the time, and can schedule time to work
just about any time, day or evening, during the week, or on the weekend.
