Access Sig

From the February 1999 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
The January 5 Access Sig seemed more like an Excel Sig because Jenny brought a problem she was having on a project that eventually would involve Access, but her immediate problem related to extracting data from a massive Excel Spreadsheet, putting it into a simpler Excel spreadsheet which could be saved in Excel 4 format, which is the only format a conversion program she had available would support.
It was sort of the blind leading the blind, because none of our Access gurus really felt we were Excel gurus as well, but we explored a number of options, and while she may have left without a complete solution, she at least had several new paths to explore to try to implement what she needed.
At the end of the meeting John identified a couple of Access problems that he planned to bring to the February 2 meeting.
