TCS - General Meeting Report
General Meeting Report

From the November 1997 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
We only had a couple of dozen people show up for the September 30 General Meeting to see a very good presentation by Dr David Kolker on Eyestrain caused by Computer Usage and how to prevent it. Attendence is usually down during the summer, but I would have thought that kids would have been back in school by September 30 and that attendance would have picked up. It is very difficult attracting good vendors to our meetings if we only turn out 20 to 40 members. Many vendors won't come unless we can guarantee them that we will have 100 or more in attendance.
At the October 28 meeting we have a speaker scheduled from Digital Impact, a local Tulsa company that produces educational CD programs sold all over the country. We have had them come in the past to show Ozzie's World. We hope TCS members will join us on October 28 to see more of Ozzie's World, and some newer products, including Money101, designed for older children, and picked up by a MLM.
We don't have this confirmed yet, but we are hoping to get Corel to come to the November 25 program, and if that is the case, we want to be sure to have as many people attend as possible, since they will be coming all the way from Canada.
