Amy Iverson did a supurb job of demonstrating the new version of Micrografx Windows Draw 6 in the Tulsa stop on the Pre-Launch Sneak Preview Tour of this exciting new product. They sent plenty of Preview CDs for the product, but unfortunately they left out the order forms. Amy will be sending them to me, and once I get them I will have them at each meeting I attend for the next month. They offer us an extremely good User Group price on the purchase of this new program ($39.95), and people who were at the August 26 meeting and got one of the Demo CDs have a coupon in the CD which will give them an additional $20 off the cost, thus the net cost will be $19.95. If you did not make it to the General Meeting to get one of the Demo CDs, sorry about that, maybe next time we have a vendor in you will make it to the presentation, because they frequently make special offers just to those in attendance.

We have all heard about carpal-tunnel syndrome, and how palm rests and wrist rests and new, angled keyboards may be used to save you from painful, possibly debilitating problems with your wrists and fingers. And we all know that back problems can result from slumping in front of a computer. But are either of those the most widespread health complaint from PC Users? No, it is eyestrain, and David R Kolker, O.D. will talk about this problem and potential solutions at the September 30 General Meeting.
