Getting Started with S&D Report

The Getting Started with Spreadsheets and Databases meeting on November 19 only had a half dozen people but they all were very interested in what was being presented, and we had some great questions from the audience. We did determine that it might make it easier for people to see the screen if we set up the projector a little further back, and lowered the lights even more, so we are going to try that next time. We need to carefully determine where to place it, since the further back it is, the larger the image will be, but the dimmer it will be (as the inverse square law of optics would predict), and the dimmer the image, the lower we need to set the lights, but we don't want to turn them out altogether, because then people could not take notes. But if the audience will help me next time determine exactly where to set things, hopefully we can make it easier for people to see what is going on.
