Getting Started

On November 18 we covered Getting Started with Spreadsheets and Databases. This was the next to the last evening meeting for Getting Started (at least for the time being). In December we will have the first afternoon Getting Started meeting, Getting Started with Graphics, which will take place at Martin East Regional Library from 1:00 to 3:00 on the second Wednesday. Our Daytimers group meets at Martin East Regional Library from 10:00 am to noon on the second Wednesday, with a general Question and Answer Session, and we will give people an hour to go get something to eat at one of the nearby restaurants, and then reconvene at 1:00 for a Getting Started program prepared specifically for beginners.

To give people time to adapt to the change, we will repeat the Getting Started with Graphics meeting in the evening of the Third Wednesday, December 16, in room M8 of Keplinger Hall, 5th and Harvard, like we have been having it, but beginning with the January 20 meeting Paula and Don Sanders will hold a Nighttimers program, a general Question and Answer session, patterned after our very successful Daytimers meeting, but with this one held at night.
