From the July, 2005 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
In June we distributed 71 computers and monitors:
We provided 71 computers to Five Star Interlocal Coop in Cushing for use in schools for
mentally retarded students in
Creek County (Allen-Bowden, Bristow, Depew, Drumright, Gypsy, Kellyville, Kiefer, Lone Star, Mannford, Milfay, Mounds, Oilton, Pretty Water)
Lincoln County (Agra, Carney, Davenport, Meeker, Prague)
Okfuskee County (Bearden, Boley, Mason, Okemah, Paden)
Pawnee County (Pawnee)
Payne County (Cushing, Oak Grove)
With the help of volunteer Gary Ludwig from our Bethesda Boys Ranch location we developed
the Coyote Router which will
allow us to turn a slow 486 (20 or 33mhz) machine into a router to allow several computers
to share one dial up connection to the internet.
