General Meeting

From the June, 2007 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter

Thanks to Richard Hall for bringing me to the meeting, I was able to attend my first TCS meeting in several years (since my health declined to the point that I am basically homebound).

I attended to make a proposal to the attendees that if they would volunteer to come to my house each month to pick up the bundles, and take them to computer stores and other businesses near where they lived and/or worked, I would attempt to reactivate the tabloid newspaper version of the I/O Port, since we always got a lot of new members when we were publishing it. Unfortunately no one was willing to make that committment.

Since Richard was moving that week, he asked me to also put on a program, and I did one on Blogging. The file of links I showed is at http://tcs.org/blog/, and at the request of attendees I added links to LogMeIn - Remote Access and Links I use in blogging
