General Meeting

CompUSA presented the program at our April 27 General Meeting, and showed a
whole range of Digital Cameras. The computer they brought to demo the cameras
had a little trouble with the software to read the images, so I asked the
speaker to take a few shots of TCS members, and we would post them on the
web site. They are there now at http://www.tcs.org/compusa.htm. He got a
good shot of Nick Nail and Don Greer, your overweight president is the
subject of another shot, and there are a couple of additonal shots of
members waiting to ask questions, including two shots that include
Meir Gottesmann. The web page has small 256 color
thumnails of the images, but if you click on an image, you will see the
full 1024 x 768 x 16.7 million color image.
Stuart Turley from Intel is the featured speaker for the May 25 meeting, and
the June 29 meeting will feature Carter Merkle from the Oklahoma Electronic
Commerce Connection and we hope Dave Whittle from MGI who will show us
PhotoSuite II and VideoWave II, and give attendees an opportunity to purchase
the products at a reduced price the night of the show.
