Note: If this tip doesn't work, select Tools - AutoCorrect, click the AutoCorrect tab, select Replace Text as you type, and then click OK. You can change the size by changing the font size.
Auto Correct
Select Tools - AutoCorrect, click the AutoCorrect tab, and in the box under Replace type Tulsa Computer Society. In the box under Type, type tcs. This is a real timesaver when you type certain phrases repeatedly. Try typing your initials for your name or type a longer phrase with an abbreviation--it's great! I call it a mini macro.
Dot Leaders
Select the paragraphs in which you want to insert leader characters before a tab stop.
On the Format menu, click Tabs.
In the Tab stop position box, type the position for a new tab, or select an existing tab stop to which you want to add leader characters.
Under Alignment, select the alignment for text typed at the tab stop.
Under Leader, click the leader option you want, and then click Set.
Drag and Copy
An alternative to copy and paste is to select text or graphic, then hold down the Ctrl key and drag and drop to copy.
Or you can click Ctrl c (which copies the text to the clipboard), then click Ctrl V at the point where you want to insert it, even in another document in another program.
