We did not know what to do because I had been without a personal machine for well over a month and without a smooth running machine since September. In early December, we were told of a relatively new computer store owned by two brothers, Milos and Nash Milenkovic. Since I had had so many problems this fall with my machine, I was very skeptical that they could build one for me that was much more complicated than the one I had previously owned. I believe I started and ended every sentence with a big "if." Both Milos and Nash kept telling me that it could be done. Finally, I believed them. They built my "Dream Machine" and it works like a dream.
Since they wanted me to load it at their store with all my peripherals attached, I was able to see how they worked and ask lots of questions. I was tremendously impressed. Their knowledge is awesome as I discovered is their skill. Both have had many years of experience in the computer field and have university degrees. Milos has a master of science in the field and sixteen years working in Europe and the Middle East. Nash started out designing CNC equipment and has over ten years in the field and bachelor or science degree in the field.
Since I do not like to reinvent the wheel, I will quote the aim of their company from their brochure:
"Atlas Computers, Inc. is an Oklahoma based corporation, established in December 1997. Our main activities include Computer Networking, from small business through the large, complex and diverse corporate networks, as well as PC manufacturing, servicing and upgrade."
While they can assemble the not too complex computer for home and business use, they specialize in designing networks and specific and complex systems like my dream machine. The name of their store is very appropriate because Atlas (from Greek mythology) was "one who supported a great burden" (Oxford Universal Dictionary, 3rd edition, 1955).
The address of their store is: 11508 East 76th Street North, Owasso, OK 74055. If one is taking highway 169 from Tulsa, they are just right of the off ramp in the same building as the Owasso Veterinary Clinic. They are open Monday through Saturday. Their phone number is: (918) 272-1640.
