On March 27 we covered Building a Web Page For Beginners, in which we built (or at least made a good start toward building) a Web Page for the Tulsa Canoe & Camping Club (http://www.geocities.com/tulsacanoeclub/). In building that page we showed how we could have a link to a static map (for the Nathan Hale Branch Library), and also how we could have a link to a dynamic map (for the location of their May 17 picnic), and how although this map would take a little longer to be constructed, it had the advantage that one could click on "Drive", and enter another address, and then get both a map and detailed driving instructions to be generated to take one from the address just entered, to the location of the picnic. those who were unable to make it to the Saturday program.
We created a couple of "mailto:" links so viewers could send email to the WebMaster and Secretary, we created several links to other sites related to Canoeing and Camping, and we added a small picture, and if you click on the small picture you will see the same picture in a much larger size. those who were unable to make it to the Saturday program.
We were not able to complete the page in the 90 minutes we had for the program, but we certainly got a good start on the page. those who were unable to make it to the Saturday program.

Attendees are urged to bring the URL of their favorite web sites, and we will take a look at them, and then add them to the link page for this meeting after the meeting is over. those who were unable to make it to the Saturday program.
