TCS - Daytimers and Learning the Internet Cancelled Beginning in May
Daytimers and Learning the Internet Cancelled Beginning in May
by Don Singleton
Tulsa Computer Society
From the May 2001 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
Beginning in May the Daytimers and Learning the Internet, previously held at Martin East
Regional Library, will be cancelled for the rest of the year. We were considering cancelling
them anyway, because of the small turnout at the last few meetings, but I was just informed
that the library has cancelled all meeting room bookings at Martin East beginning April 30,
because of major rennovation at the library.
The two meetings will be held on April 11, and if there are enough people to make a meeting
worth while, we will discuss whether to try to have it at a different facility, or whether
we can persuade the people to come to other TCS meetings. See next month's I/O Port for any
announcement based on decisions which we will make on April 11.
