TCS - Used Computer Sent To Pastor Juan In Chile
Used Computer Sent To Pastor Juan In Chile
by Don Singleton
Tulsa Computer Society
From the May 2001 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
TCS placed a used computer in my hands last Spring for Pastor Juan.
I haven't been able to take the precious cargo to him, but two missionary
friends traveled his way took the computer. There was great concern about
getting through customs. I learned today through her husband that the
computer is now safely with pastor Juan in Rancauga, Chile. I have asked him
to make his testimony to you.
I tried to find a source of Spanish software and so far that hasn't
happened. Voice of the Martyrs here in Bartlesville works in multiple
languages worldwide, but depends on English and keyboard software to
communicate in other languages. They occassionally get software in Spanish
and will let me know when it becomes available. I just wanted to let you
know that your gift to South America has now been received. Thanks to Tulsa
Computer Society.
Sincerely, Bob Perry
