General Meeting

From the November 2002 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
At the October 29 meeting we had a program on
Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Amazon.com shows that the product has a list price of $99.00
but that they are selling it for $89.99 and that there is a $20 discount from Amazon that
is good only until November 3 plus a manufacturer discount of $30 that is good until
December 31, so that right now it would end up costing $39.99. At the meeting someone implied
the Amazon discount was larger than that, because the price after discounts was supposed to
be $24, so you might want to double check both on Amazon and check other sites and you might
be able to get the eventual $24 price, but when I looked at it it was going to be $39.99.
I took a couple of photographs of the audience which are attached. A lot more showed up
after I took these photos, so I tried to take more, but the battery was too low on my camera
so here are the people that arrived early.
