TCS - Owasso Meetings Suspended

Owasso Meetings Suspended

by Don Singleton

From the November 1998 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter

Demand for the Getting Started meetings in Owasso has dropped off significantly (in fact no one showed up for the 3pm meeting on October 7, and less than 10 showed up for the 7pm meeting, so we are going to suspend having two Getting Started dates each month, and concentrate on the single meeting at Keplinger Hall (room M8) in Tulsa on the Third Wednesday of each month. If there is sufficient demand after the first of the year, we may reconsider activating something in Owasso.

There was to have been a Getting Started with Windows meeting in Owasso in November, and because we think a lot of people may be interested in that, we will devote the Special Projects meeting on November 2 (first Monday) in room M1 of Keplinger Hall, 5th and Harvard, in Tulsa to Getting Started with Windows. The normal 3rd Wednesday Getting Started meeting in room M8 will cover Getting Started with Spreadsheets and Databases.
