Microsoft has unveiled a second service release for its Office 97 application suite. The patch, available free via download or mail order, enables you to update Office 97 with all the latest changes in a single swoop. Among the tweaks: Fixes for Excel recalculation issues, updated support for Euro currency, corrected Access ComboBox record editing and enhanced Y2K compliance. Warning: This patch sparked upgrade angst around the world, according to ZDNN. And our Tech Director, Jon DeKeles, has forbidden installation of the patch on AnchorDesk machines until further notice. Proceed at your own risk.
