This product is small, but versitile. If you use a Palm, HandSpring, CLIE or have a mobile phone with Internet service, this is the product to enhance your service.

SkipStream offers an external solution for wireless device distribution. It runs independent of an organziations network and allows you to take advantage of these services. It lets you get information to a Palm from your PC and back and then to download or upload and not take up space on your hard drive. Working with Palm OS, SkipStream can make getting software downloaded easy and will also help you organize your information.

MySkipWire is a free, secure service that remembers which software and e-books have been placed on a personalized account. It retains purchases and verifies user device and will delete selection instantly. The services converts PC files, email attachments, PDFs, images, text, and more into Palm files. Upstream uploads files to MySkipWire from a connected device. Web Transfer sends pages and programs from Web sites and save them to the account. Local file upload will take files from your local hard drive to your account. You get 15MB of personal storage and Email is received, create and sent from your device.

This is DownStream Whitewater Edition or the elite edition of $19.95, but SkipSync and DownStream are free services. Upload is included in the service. SkipStream is $9.95 a month.

You can check out all the services and other information at www.skipwire.com. It is a small program and does a big job. It works for those travel a lot or use lots of files at a time. It was also used with Sue's Handspring Visor Deluxe and worked equally well. Bee has the Palm Pilot III. There was an incredible ease of uploading and transferring from my computer to the Visor. Programs such as this make it easier for those who are needing an easy way to read attachments, upload, download or organizing without a lot of difficulty. The Visor runs on the Palm software so installation was a breeze. Such a program as this allows ease of use and is not all difficult to set up. Whether you are using a Palm or Visor, this is the program to get and use. If you purchase just one program for your Palm or Visor, this is the one to get.
