Special Projects

We only had five people show up for our Special Projects meeting on September 6 but that may be because it was Labor Day, and people were tired from not working on that day.

Dolly Allison will do a program on Customizing your Christmas Letter in Microsoft Works for the October 4 meeting.

We have Warren Smith from Firehand Technologies (http://www.firehand.com/products/index.html) scheduled for the November 1 program. Warren will talk about life inside Microsoft — he was a Tech Lead in Multimedia Systems for a number of years and worked with Microsoft, Sony, and others on enhanced audio CDs for some pretty major performing artists, including bunch of work on multimedia entertainment CDs and holds a whole string of patents on technology in that arena, and he will describe how all of that lead up to Firehand’s imaging suite.

I hope we have a really good turnout for that meeting. Firehand Technologies is a local Tulsa based company with some really interesting, inexpensive graphic programs.
