Parson's Sold

Intuit is selling Parson's Technology to Broderbund. We do not yet know whether Broderbund will continue supporting Family Origins even though it will compete with their own Family Tree Maker. I have asked Matt McCann of Parsons to let me know as soon as he learns how this will turn out. My personal guess is that they would not keep both products indefinitely, but hopefully they would take the best things from Family Origins and incorporate them in Family Tree Maker, and give Family Origins owners a path to upgrade to the new program.
