Business Show Brings TCS New People

The last Quicken meeting saw about six new people to the sig meeting, including Susan Luger, the new co-sig leader, with great knowledge of QuickBooks. MOst of these people learned about TCS from our booth and seminars at the recent Computer and Office Technology Showcase.

At the April 30 meeting Suzy showed how to track rental properties and tenants. We'll be doing some Questions and Answers at the May 28 meeting in room U2 of Keplinger Hall (our normal room U9 is being remodeled).

Susan M. "Suzy" Lugar is Vice President and Senior Consultant of Lugar PC Software Consultants where she has been for the past three years. She has been in the computer field since 1979 when she graduaged from West Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She went to work in Tulsa for Standard Oil of Indiana/Amoco as a computer programmer, and later as a research scientist. Suzy went on to get her Master of Science degree from the University of Tulsa. She then worked for MPSI in their computer research department and then the Williams Companies as a systems analyst. Suzy has been involved with PCs since 1982. In her present position with Lugar PC Software Consultants, Suzy tutors new computer owners, assists would-be computer owners in their purchases, installs software, and sets up QuickBooks for small business owners.
