The Tulsa City-County Library's 24 branches offer collections of books totaling over 1,000,000 volumes, in addition to almost any magazine one could reasonably expect, newspapers from all around the U.S., thousands of books on cassette and CD, musical CDs, and videos and DVDs - and all are available for check-out or use in the library with a library card, which is free to those who live, work or attend school in Tulsa County. What a deal!
Browse our newest arrivals at the eLibrary page New Titles. Here you'll find lists of bestsellers, new adult fiction and nonfiction titles, new books on tape and CD-ROM, new videos and more!
Most of the items on the lists are linked to the library's catalog where you can click the yellow Request button to reserve an individual book, CD, or DVD. Many of our catalog records link to reviews and additional information about a title - click on the More about This Book button in an individual record to try out this function.
You can scroll through the new title lists, read reviews and reserve an item in two or three minutes with just a few clicks of the mouse!
While you're on the library's homepage click on the Adults Books & Reading icon on the left side of the screen to access all kinds of news and reviews about books, bookstores, and the world of reading. TCCL librarians work hard to find the best websites to help customers find the next book in a series, book awards, and the next good read - all in one handy spot.
Click on Your Review Here and tell us about a good book you've recently read - we'd like to hear from you and so would other readers in our community.
Visit eLibrary and check out our reading lists - we're still the best game in town for a good read! For more information about online library services and resources call 596.7977.
