The August 31, 2004 General Meeting had three visitors in addition to the 17 faithful members. Leslie Warner of CompUSA brought in extra chairs for the meeting and welcomed everyone to the store.

Richard Hall started the meeting by trying answer questions about Outlook Express. He then distributed CDs containing the network version of Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) to everyone present.

Richard next went to the TCS page http://www.tcs.org/xpsp2.htm that contains information about the SP2 patch as he started the upgrade on Luggie 3. After the patch was installed, he went back to Luggie 3 and reviewed the results of the installation.

There was much discussion about the benefits and issues of installing the patch. The members agreed to have a question-and-answer session at the General Meeting on September 28, 2004. They also said they would return with their SP2 installation experiences.
