Access Sig Report
by Don Singleton
Tulsa Computer Society
From the September 1998 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter
At the August 4 Access meeting we covered use of Set Value so that a Form could store a
calculated value in a Table, saw how the Totals feature (Sigma on the tool bar) could
turn a select query into one that eliminated duplicates, saw how to get around the fact
that the labels wizard seems to only build labels with four lines, and how
setting the Can Grow property on a line in a report could prevent an excessively long
entry from taking two lines on a label, and explored cross tab queries, and compared
their results to what Excel calls Pivot Tables.
