Library Computer Skills Workshops are offered at the Central Library every Tuesday at 2 p.m., Wednesday at 10 a.m., Thursday at 7 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. Workshop participants work hands-on computers learning how to search the on-line library catalog, access the full text of magazine articles, find newspaper articles, locate resources in other libraries, and use the "Information about Tulsa" database. The workshops are taught in a newly-remodeled Computer Training Room at the Central Library, located at 4th Street and Denver Avenue in downtown Tulsa. The workshops are free and open to the public. No preregistration is required. Call Jon Walker at 596-7928 or email him at jwalker@tccl.lib.ok.usfor more information.
