From the May 1997 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter

Pat was born in 1936 and raised on a small farm near Ganesville, Ohio. He met his wife Cindy while she and he were teaching swimming at the Red Cross "Learn to Swim" classes.

Pat graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in Gealogy in 1961. Immediately he wend to work for Seismographic Service Corporation in Tulsa. He moved nine times within the first 10 years, finally moving to Tulsa in 1971, and he has been here since then.

They have six wonderful children. Pat purchased a new computer in August of 1996, and through a great deal of reading and practicing, together with a GREAT DEAL OF HELP from the Tulsa Computer Society he is now beginning to enjoy using it.

Pat has been a very great help in packing the equipment up and taking it out to the car, and several times he has helped bring it in and set it up as well. We really appreciate the help that people like Pat provide.
