TCS - TU Meeting Room Changes for the Summer

TU Meeting Room Changes for the Summer

by Don Singleton

From the June 1997 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter

TU is installing some new equipment in U9 during the summer, so meetings that use that room (Visual Basic, Getting Started, Word Processing / DTP, and Quicken) will move to room U2, and there is a TU Summer Program in M3, so for the summer the Linux group will move to U3.

These changes are effective immediately.

Also note that as stated elsewhere, Computer Basics (2nd Monday) will not be meeting during the Summer, and the two Windows meetings (3.1 and 95) will be combined into one meeting on the third Monday in room M1, and the first Monday meeting will be used for special projects, such as doing the Getting Started with Communications and the Internet meetings about every three months, Review Sessions on Getting Started topics, and hopefully we will be able to revive some Graphic programs every few months. In future months we will publish more details on exactly what we will be doing on the first Monday of that month.
