Webtricity is a collection of several Micrografx programs that together can produce some fantastic graphics for the World Wide Web. Amy Iverson may give us a sample of some of what Webtricity can do when she presents her Draw Across America presentation of the new Micrografx Draw 6 at the TCS General Meeting on August 26, and we will definitely take a look at it at the Internet Meeting for September 29, as we discuss Preparing Graphics for a Web Page.

Webtricity includes Media Manager 2, a content manager tool combining web- ready photo and clip art images, Picture Publisher 7, a photo editing and image creation program, Simply 3D 2, a program to create animated 3D objects and text, Designer 7, a very powerful drawing program, and QuickSilver 3, an Active-X control.

Over 45,000 pieces of professionally designed templates, animated GIFs, and VRML2 3D scenes and animation are included.

I expect to have more about Webtricity in next month's paper, in preparation for the September 29 Internet Sig meeting, but I wanted to include something this month, since Amy will be at the General Meeting on August 26.
