Windows Meetings Merge

From the June 1997 issue of the I/O Port Newsletter

Bruce Carson has announced that he will merge the Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 meetings into one meeting on the Third Monday of each month, in room M1 of Keplinger Hall. Windows 3.1 will be featured primarilly from 7:00 to 7:30, and Windows 95 primarilly after 7:30, although Windows 3.1 questions will be answered at that time as well.

The First Monday meeting slot will be devoted to Special Projects. At the June 2 meeting we will have the Getting Started with Communications and the Internet meeting, which needs the phone line in M1, and the normal Getting Started meeting on the First Monday will be devoted to a general Question and Answer session for beginners. Currently I plan to be out of town (at Comdex) for those two meetings, so Bruce Carson will be covering them for me.

Tentatively the July 7 meeting will be devoted to another Q&A meeting for beginners, but check next month's paper for certain, because if she is able to get her migraine headaches under control, Paula Sanders hopes to be able to use one of the First Monday meetings for some special Graphics meetings. If you have ideas for future Graphics Special Programs, please send email to Paula at 102353.2532@compuserve.com.
