Word Processing

I thought the turnout for the Special Projects meeting on Monday, October 6, was poor, but it beat the two people that turned out for the October 8 Word Processing/Desktop Publishing meeting. I don't know whether the fact that we were unable to do our normal voice mail call on Sunday was the cause, or what. We will try to get the call done each Sunday, but if we are not able to do it, you have your I/O Port Newsletters and you can check yourself to see what meetings are scheduled. I get quite a few phone calls each day, and so does Bruce. While we are willing to do what we can to help people over the phone, if they would come to one of the meetings and ask their question, not only they but others in the audience could benefit from the answers, and one person's questions frequently remind someone else of related questions they have.
Bruce and I usually get to meetings by 6:30 to set up, so even if there is a particular program scheduled, we can answer questions between 6:30 and the start of the meeting, and some times we run Q&A sessions through out the meeting as well.
If you have recommendations for programs, please let us know. We really would like to get more people attending each of our meetings.
