Hi
I'm a person with a learning disability. I was extremely disappointed when
they moved the fourth nights to a church in Lakewood. I don't drive. I very
much would like to go this Friday. I've sort of missed them. If there is
any one that is going that lives near broadway and ridgeroad or Arapahoe.
I'm a little short on cash but I would be willing to pay cab fare. Please

named Jessie and her family. Jessie was born
with Downs Syndrome and has Leukemia. Recently,
as a result of chemotherapy, she has developed
diabetes. She cannot receive insulin injections
on her chemo days, and therefore her blood sugar
and health cannot be stabilized. Furthermore,
her parents have insufficient health insurance
and money to care for all of Jessie's medical
needs. This is a difficult time for all of them,
but particularly for Jessie who has no way of
understanding the benefits of such painful things
as daily injections / iv's, etc.

I need your prayers for two friends who are having surgeries this week. Judy Hardrick will be having foot surgery today at 5:30 p.m. to try to correct the deformity that has taken place. She has a "port" implant now, to use for her monthly IV treatments, but this surgery and therapy will be difficult for her. Another friend, John Casack, will have leg surgery to repair an improperly healed break which happened last year. Four pins used then have all broken. They will be scraping the bone and using artificial materials to keep the leg from becoming shorter than the other one. Both surgeries are going to be difficult for these people. Thank you for your prayers, my friends.

I ask for prayers for my cousin Jennifer. She has been having problems with her ankle that she broke last summer. They sent her to a specialist and found out that she has 3 tumors. They will be doing surgery with best hope being a bone graft to the affected area, worse case they will be amputating her foot. She is 26.

Just a quick update on Mike's brother, Andy.
Andy was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital just before midnight May 17 when it was discovered that he had been drinking quite heavily, along with taken an extremely toxic amount of Benadryl and Tylenol. After being in the ER for four hours, his blood toxin level was still 2 1/2 times the Poison Control's toxic level.
Last night, after being in the ER and CCU for about 24 hours, Andy removed his Ventilator tube himself and was becoming increasingly responsive. This morning he was doing well, just very sleepy. By lunch time today, he was eating and talking to several vistors and family members. He has been moved to his own room where he will stay for about a week.
He is still pretty sleepy, and of course his throat is sore, but he is ok. He's got a long long way to go before he is *well* again, and we did find out he has been seeing a therapist for about 8 months, but he's definately got some deep issues towards his life.
Continued prayers for Andy and the entire Mand family are truly appriciated. Thank you all for your love and support!

There was a severe accident early Friday am in which 3 young men were killed and one young man were severely injured(all about 21 y.o.and past classmates of mine). There are 2 funerals today, Tues. Don't know when the 3rd is. The ones killed: Tony Lopez, Caleb Jeffords, and Rich Pasnino. The injured man is Jared Buffington. All the families are in need of prayer- and special ones for Jared who lost his best friends and hockey team mates.Jared was not driving, but will definitely go through the guilt and despair of being the one "left Behind". He is also in for a long summer of rehabilitation(at least).

Kari and David Long from Broomfield need your prayers as they deal with Kari's sister death. Kitty Estes fought a very aggressive battle with breast cancer about 2 or 3 years ago. All was well for a while, but the cancer has returned to her lungs and now her brain. Kari flew to Missouri to be with her last Friday (5/18) and the outlook is grim. Kitty is only 44 and has 14 year old twin sons. The family has been through so much already and it appears they will now have to face life withough this wonderful sister, wife, mother, daughter, teacher, friend.

I need your prayers for two friends who are having surgeries this week. Judy Hardrick will be having foot surgery today at 5:30 p.m. to try to correct the deformity that has taken place. She has a "port" implant now, to use for her monthly IV treatments, but this surgery and therapy will be difficult for her. Another friend, John Casack, will have leg surgery to repair an improperly healed break which happened last year. Four pins used then have all broken. They will be scraping the bone and using artificial materials to keep the leg from becoming shorter than the other one. Both surgeries are going to be difficult for these people. I ask for prayers for my cousin Jennifer. She has been having problems with her ankle that she broke last summer. They sent her to a specialist and found out that she has 3 tumors. They will be doing surgery with best hope being a bone graft to the affected area, worse case they will be amputating her foot. She is 26.

Just a quick update on Mike's brother, Andy.
Andy was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital just before midnight May 17 when it was discovered that he had been drinking quite heavily, along with taken an extremely toxic amount of Benadryl and Tylenol. After being in the ER for four hours, his blood toxin level was still 2 1/2 times the Poison Control's toxic level.
Last night, after being in the ER and CCU for about 24 hours, Andy removed his Ventilator tube himself and was becoming increasingly responsive. This morning he was doing well, just very sleepy. By lunch time today, he was eating and talking to several vistors and family members. He has been moved to his own room where he will stay for about a week.
He is still pretty sleepy, and of course his throat is sore, but he is ok. He's got a long long way to go before he is *well* again, and we did find out he has been seeing a therapist for about 8 months, but he's definately got some deep issues towards his life.
Continued prayers for Andy and the entire Mand family are truly appriciated. Thank you all for your love and support!

There was a severe accident early Friday am in which 3 young men were killed and one young man were severely injured(all about 21 y.o.and past classmates of mine). There are 2 funerals today, Tues. Don't know when the 3rd is. The ones killed: Tony Lopez, Caleb Jeffords, and Rich Pasnino. The injured man is Jared Buffington. All the families are in need of prayer- and special ones for Jared who lost his best friends and hockey team mates.Jared was not driving, but will definitely go through the guilt and despair of being the one "left Behind". He is also in for a long summer of rehabilitation(at least).

Also, I haven't told her, but I fell last Saturday, June 23rd, and hurt my lower back. The Rye ambulance team insisted on taking me in for further evaluation. Nothing was broken, but I am still awfully sore, especially through my right side.
